Sensex rises to 32,643 points; Nifty crosses the 10,000 mark

The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex on Monday rose to a new high of 32,643 points, while the National Stock Exchange's Nifty crossed the 10,000 mark for the first time to 10,200 points.


The impact of the decline in inflation

At the time of wholesale inflation came in the numbers. Wholesale inflation eased to 2.60 per cent in September. As per this news, the response to the stock market increased.

Shares of Bharti Airtel, Mahindra & Mahindra, HUL, Tata Motors and Sun Pharma are up 2 per cent. However, shares of important companies such as Reliance Industries, TCS, ONGC, ICICI Bank and Infosys increased. In addition, shares of small and medium-sized companies in all sectors also got a good response. 


Market Cap 138 Cr

On this basis, the Sensex rose by 201 points to 32, 634, while the Nifty advanced 63 points to 10,200. This increase has resulted in the total market capitalization of the registered companies on BSE at Rs 138.74 crore. There has been an increase of about 6.7 lakh crores in the month of October.
