The month of Ramadan (Ramzan) is one of the most pious and prestigious, for millions across the world. This year Ramadan began on April 23, 2020, and will end on May 23, 2020. But due to the coronavirus lockdown, Muslims across India and many other parts of the world are not able to celebrate it their way. Since staying at home is of utmost importance, this year, the festival is celebrated between the four walls, however, the essence of the celebrations remain the same.

Several brands in India, Pakistan and other countries have made campaigns over the years, thereby sharing the message of kindness, compassion and positivity. Here are some Ramadan or Ramzan ads which will make you smile and fill you with emotions.

Neki Nahi Rukegi: Just like every year, Surf Excel (Pakistan) this year too passed the message of positivity with #NekiNahiRukegi. The ad shows how children let the spirit of goodness blossom even in tough times. The message is shared by a song, soulfully crooned by Shafqat Amanat Ali

Eesar Ek Ibadat: Last year, Surf Excel Pakistan has shared a message of thinking about others first with #EesarEkIbaadat, where the video showed how little Salim is putting others first, eventually sharing that thinking of others before ourselves is also Ibadat.

Neki Ek Ibaadat: In this video, Shahid shows the selfless act making one understanding the true spirit of Ramadan

Celebrating Goodness: Tata Motors, in a video released two years back shared a message of spreading happiness, where a bunch of school-going children represent the true spirit of Ramadan by joining hands and breaking the human barriers of race and religion

Goodness can also be spread through food. In a video campaign by Shan Foods, the team showed how a Chinese neighbour who does not know the language or culture, learns to build a relationship through food.

Amidst the lockdown, there are many who are living away from the family and have no means to connect with them except for calls. During such times, one tends to get emotional, and that's when true friends become family. Here's an ad by Shan Foods which reflects this thought

Reliance Fresh in an advertisement a few years back shared the message that Ramzan is just not about fasting or observing Roza, it is also about deeds of goodness, big or small.
