F South ward turns good samaritan

Parel- Old clothes are usually trashed or given away in exchange for utensils. The F south ward office has initiated a novel programme under which residents can give away used clothes to the needy and poor. “We believe in recycling and reducing waste and so we are urging residents to give away their used clothes, which we will hand it over to the poor,” said F South ward assistant commissioner Vishwas Mote. Residents are also happy with the initiative. “Initially, I used to throw away used clothes but now I feel good that I can give these clothes to the poor people," local resident Janardan Shinde.
