Mumbai Police’s social media handles has always won hearts of netizens with their posts that remind people about different safety rules and guidelines in a quirky manner.

At times, they also share posts aimed at spreading awareness among people, especially during the time of pandemic.

However, now the city police stepped aside from their usual shares and posted something different. They posted a video showcasing a policeman helping a differently abled man cross a road.

In the video, a policeman holding the hand of a differently abled man and helping him to cross a busy street of CSMT at a signal. At one point in the clip, the person recording the video is also heard saying “Hat’s off.”

“Our #MrMumbaiPolice, winning hearts across the 'universe'! HC Rajendra Sonawane spotted at CSMT road doing what we do best - lending a helping hand to those in need!” they wrote.

The video has been shared about 18 hours ago, that is on December 13. Since being posted, the clip has accumulated more than 1.3 lakh views and the numbers are only increasing. The share has also gathered tons of appreciative comments.

Last year, the city police on December 31, posted a meme portraying the digital version of Hum Saath Saath Hai, urging the citizens to stay indoors ahead of the New Year’s Eve during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
