Hundreds of Sai devotees from Thane left for Shirdi by bicycle on Friday, November 17 chanting Sai Baba. Like every other year, this year too, Sairam Mitra Mandal from Namdevadi, Panchpakhadi organised a cycle rally from Thane to Shirdi.

This cycle journey started from Saibaba Mandir in Panchpakhadi. On this occasion, MLA Niranjan Dawkhare, former corporator Sandeep Lele, former corporator Narayan Pawar, founder of Pradeep Dalvi Mandal Datta More, president Vinod Gupta, vice president Vishal Ghadge, secretary Ajay Sukhdare, treasurer Chandan Dhanavade, Ganesh Banote, Sushant Rahate and other board workers were present on this occasion. This cycle journey which started on November 17 will reach Shirdi on November 20.

Even though the bicycle riders are in low numbers, the tradition of bicycling to pilgrimage is still in trend. This year is the 21st year of cycle yatra and 150 cyclists have participated in this cycle yatra.
