Shaba Speech and Hearing Centre Organised A Programme For Hearing-Impaired Kids

Miss World 2019 Deaf Vidhisha Baliyan was also present at the programme wherein the kids performed on the stage with their drama, dance, singing and poetries.

Shaba Speech and Hearing Center in association with Phonak organised a gathering for hearing impaired children along with Miss World 2019 Deaf Vidhisha Baliyan. The event began with the owner of Shaba Speech and Hearing Center Fatima Jagmag sharing her experience of how children and parents are more aware of topics related to hearing impairments and are, in turn, being more empathetic.

Notably, Shaba Speech and Hearing Center was also celebrating its 25th anniversary and hearing-impaired children performed on the stage with drama, dance, singing and poetries. 

Talking about the event Vidisha Baliyan said,  "Life threw a lot of obstacles on me since my childhood as a hearing impaired kid but I was always sure about becoming something great in life. In spite of many problems, I can proudly say that I have achieved everything that I had dreamt of."

Talking about their collaboration with Phonak- a manufacturer of hearing aid devices, Vishisha Baliyan said, "With proper counselling and technologically advanced hearing devices children are able to live a normal life and confidently interact with the world. We are glad to create something like this and hoping to continue this for life long."
