With the growing trend of promoting college festivals or clubs, every college is coming forth with a social cause. In a similar endeavour, the Rotaract Club of HR College, Churchgate celebrated a series of social campaigns and spread the joy of giving.

With a thought to evoke the spirit of humanity within us, the Rotaract club of HR college celebrated the feeling of oneness at this two-day massive project ‘Jingle All The Way’, which took place during the festive season recently, on December 25 and 26, where they were given an opportunity to celebrate Christmas with the people in need and bring smiles to their faces.

Under this special programme, they became Dabbawalas, strolled through the slums of the city, and distributed food to the underprivileged. The team also visited the Matunga Juvenile Home, and spent quality time with the children there, being their Secret Santas.

On December 26, the students paid a visit to ‘Om Creations Trust’, an NGO for the mentally impaired. They danced and laughed with the children there and were left stunned by their enthusiasm and the will to live.

They also worked with SMILE Foundation that adopts abandoned and street children.

The last phase of this campaign was at Gateway of India, where they went sailing with several cancer patients on a ferry ride.
