Stephen Hawking fans brace up for another event where you will get to know in brief about his life and his essential contributions to gravitation and cosmology. This event will take place on Friday, April 20, 2018, at Lecture Theatre (AG-66), Colaba, which will be chaired by Prof. Sunil Mukhi (IISER, Pune) at 4:00 pm.
During this event, the professor will provide a short, non-technical survey of Stephen Hawking's essential contributions to gravitation and cosmology. The talk will also include some stories that will highlight his remarkable life and his role as a public figure, together with some audio and video clips of Hawking.
He will also include some personal memories as a host of his visit to TIFR, Mumbai for the Strings 2001 conference.
