WhatsApp recently announced a new feature where the instant-messaging service will allow the users to send and receive messages even when the internet is blocked or goes down via proxy servers.

In order to provide smooth service, the messaging app have released a new feature called ‘Proxy support for WhatsApp’. With this, the users can stay online and connected to the app through servers set up by volunteers and organisations around the world dedicated to helping people communicate freely.

How to use this feature?

Step 1: Go to WhatsApp Settings.

Step 2: Tap on Storage, then data and tap on Use Proxy.

Step 3: Enter the proxy address and Save to connect.

Step 4: A check mark will be displayed if the connection is successful

4. You will be redirected to a website with a green message button.
