The Xiaomi fans across the country had been waiting for the company to launch their netbooks in the country and today they have answered those prayers with the launch of Mi NoteBook series. Powered by 10th Gen Intel Core processors along with 8GB of DDR4 RAM, the portfolio comprises laptops across 2 series with Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition making its global debut in India.
The new Mi NoteBook 14 and Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition offer an upscale design, built with a super light Magnesium-Aluminum alloy and an anodized sandblasted coating. The laptops have up to 10 hours of battery backup. Additionally, the series comes preloaded with Windows 10 Home Edition and offers DTS Audio Processing to fine-tune audio levels for the best content consumption experience, Mi Quickshare to seamlessly share files between your Android smartphone and laptop. Mi Blaze Unlock is another unique feature added to unlock your Mi Notebook in less than 1.2 seconds with your Mi Band.
The Mi Notebook Horizon Edition comes with a ‘Horizon Display’, which is a 14-inch display in the footprint of a 13.3-inch form factor with 91 per cent Screen to Body Ratio. It has a 16:9 Full HD (1920*1080) display and a wide viewing angle of 178°. It comes with an anti-glare coating to avoid reflections and reduce strain to your eyes while working in a bright environment or under a direct light source.
Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition is among the first few devices to debut with the NVIDIA MX350 GPU, which comes with 2GB of Video RAM allowing users to smoothly edit photos/videos or play games. It is priced at Rs 54,999
Mi Notebook 14, on the other hand, comes with 10th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 2666 MHz, up to 512 GB of SATA SSD storage and a discrete GPU on the top variant - Nvidia GeForce MX 250 with 2 GB of video memory. Weighing just 1.5 kg, the laptop has a screen to body ratio of 81.2 per cent. This notebook too boasts of 10 hours power backup and 65W fast charging. The launch price of this notebook is Rs 41,999.
