The creative team at India's popular GEC, Colors TV, is focused on achieving newer heights. After launching shows like Barrister Bahu, Nati Pinky ki Lambi Love Story, and Khatron Ke Khiladi; the channel is now set to launch their new show 'Pavitra Bhagya.'

In a recently held event, the team launched the show starring Kunal Jaisingh, Aneri Vajani and Vaishnavi Prajapati. Present at the press meet was the cast of Pavitra Bhagya, who interacted with the media and spoke about the show and their characters.

The show revolves around Reyansh and Pranati who, during the college days, like each other, but due to some differences, they part ways. Reyansh is a rich and flamboyant boy who is not bothered about commitment in relationships and wants to lead a carefree boy ahead. On the other hand, Pragati lives with strong familial values and is serious about love and commitment. When she decides to lead a life by listening to her heart, she is left scarred, Eight years pass by, and Pranati is not aware of Jugnu, her child with Reyansh. Jugnu grows up by himself and has written his own rules to lead a life. The story of Pavitra Bhagya unfolds from a point where times would be tested, to see if Jugnu will be able to make a family again with Reyansh and Pranati

Talking about the show, Nina Elavia Jaipuria, Head, Hindi Mass Entertainment and Kids TV Network, Viacom18, said,  "At Colors, we always aim to present stories and characters which are immersive, imaginative and intriguing. With Pavitra Bhagya, we present to viewers a distinctive portrayal of relationships in today's modern world. The unusual journey of three characters will definitely strike the right chord with the audience and further strengthen our weekday fiction line up."

Producer of the show, Ekta Kapoor, Balaji Telefilms, said, "With Pavitra Bhagya, our sim is to narrate an intriguing store of three individuals divided by circumstances but brought together by fate. Challenging status quo and shattering stereotypes, Pavitra Bhagya will showcase a story of how a child becomes instrumental in bringing two people together. The show will feature myriad shares of characters that are nuanced and relatable. We had a great time conceptualising the show and are certain that the journey of each of the characters will keep the audience intrigued and engrossed." 

Pavitra Bhagya will air on Colors TV from March 2, 2020.
