The grand finale of Sony TV's popular singing reality show, Indian Idol, was held recently and fans were eager to know the winner of Indian Idol 11. The show which began in October 2019, came to an end with five talented contestants who made their way to the finale with their phenomenal skills. The contestants who were competing against each other were Adriz Ghosh from Kolkata, Rohit Raut from Latur, Sunny Hindustani from Bathinda, Ankona Mukherjee and Ridham Kalyan from Amritsar.
After a tough competition, judges announced Sunny Hindustani as the winner of Indian Idol 11. The singer from Bhatinda was the most loved and received numerous votes. He was awarded a cash prize of ₹25 Lakhs, a car from Tata Motors and a chance to sing for upcoming T-Series film.

Rohit was the first runner up of Indian Idol 11 and won a prize of ₹5 lakhs. Akona was the 2nd runner up of the show, and she was awarded a cash prize of ₹5 lakhs. Ridham Kalyan was in the 4th position and Adriz finished in the fifth position. They were given a cash prize of ₹3 lakhs
In a recent interaction, Sunny said that he was sure to win Indian Idol 11, further stating that he has won hearts through singing and considers that as the big achievement. He also thanked his fans for bringing him until this phase of Indian Idol 11 and for the love they've showered. He also mesmerised the judges and audience with his singing and got emotional during the finale episode of Indian Idol.
The event was also attended by popular Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana and in a recently released promo, he had also announced that the winner of Indian Idol 11 will get a chance to sing a song for T-Series. Contestants for Indian Idol 11 were selected from different places of India and from different backgrounds, but they all had one passion in life - music.
The evening also saw amazing performances by judges Himmesh Reshammiya, Vishal Dadlani, Neha Kakkar and host Aditya Narayan. Neha Kakkar was joined by her siblings Sonu Kakkar and Tony Kakkar, who performed the recent song from Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. Former Indian Idol winner Salman Ali was also present for the finale and sang along with Sunny Hindustani.
Sony TV will soon be launching a new dance reality show 'India Ke Superstars' which will be judged by Geeta Kapur, Terence Lewis and Malaika Arora Khan. The hosts of the show Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa also became a part of Indian Idol 11 grand finale. Several contestants from this new show performed at this event.
