After PM Narendra Modi, the Indian Superstar 'Thaialva' aka Rajinikanth will be seen in an episode for Discovery channel's popular programme 'Man vs Wild' with host Bear Grylls. As per reports, the episode was shot at Karnataka's Bandipur Tiger Reserve, which began at 11:00 AM on Tuesday and ended by 4:00 PM.

Talking about the same, the reserve's director and conservator of forests, told IANS that the officials had given a permission for 6-8 hours to Discovery Channel to shoot in Bandipur Tiger Reserve. The paid collaboration included the documentary fee, vehicle fee among other costs and the four day shoot was charged at INR 10 lakhs.

Sanjay Mohan, state's chief wildlife warden said that many documentaries have been shot in Bandipur and he has urged Discovery Channel to also emphasise on the efforts put by Karnataka forest department in saving the forest wildlife, as the wants the tiger reserve and the department to get a good name and the recognition.

Bandipur Tiger Reserve, an 874 sq km national park is a tiger reserve that lists 28 species of mammals which includes Royal Bengal tiger, Asian elephant, common leopard, barking deer, and many others.

The team at Discovery Channel had also shot an episode at Uttarakhand 's Jim Corbett National Park in February with PM Modi, and the same was telecast in August 2019.
