Aditya Thackeray dedicates 75 new BEST buses to public

Yuva Sena president Aditya Thackeray dedicated 75 new buses of the BEST undertaking to public in a programme held at Wadala bus depot on Tuesday. Mayor Vishwanath Mahadeshwar and other dignitaries also attended the programme.

BEST undertaking has purchased 303 new buses from Tata Motors. Of these, 75 were inducted into its fleet on Tuesday.

While addressing the programme, Aditya Thackeray said that BEST bus services are lifeline of the city and hence improvement in services is the need of the time. He also informed that these buses will be made available for plying on the roads within two days.

Facilities available in these new buses include:

Euro 4 engine and automatic transmission

The height of front door steps is shortened while the width of the door is broadened.

Blower system of higher capacity

Length of the bus is 12 meters

Eight mobile chargers are placed beside seats

Air suspension system

Distance in two seats increased

LED tube lights installed in the bus

Pre-coated aluminum sheets placed on the roof.
