Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express commences from March 13

Vande Bharat Express started on Mumbai Central to Ahmedabad route from March 13. Currently Western Railway is running 5 Vande Bharata Express trains between Gandhinagar Capital-Mumbai Central, Ahmedabad (Sabarmati)-Jodhpur, Ahmedabad-Jamnagar, Indore-Bhopal-Nagpur and Udaipur-Jaipur (stop at Chittorgarh).


Regular service to Ahmedabad will depart daily at 06:10 am (except Sundays), and will reach Mumbai Central at 11:35 am. In the return direction, the train will depart from Mumbai Central at 3:55 pm, reaching Ahmedabad at 9:25 pm. Vande Bharat Express on Mumbai Central Ahmedabad route will stop at Vadodara, Surat, Vapi and Borivali stations. This new Vande Bharat Express consists of an AC chair car and executive chair car.

Over 70% seats were booked within 12 hours on Tuesday, as bookings for the first journey of the newly launched Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express opened. Similarly, more than 57% tickets were sold for Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad train. Both services will resume regular flights from March 13.
