A mini bus operated by the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) on Saturday morning met with an accident in Mumbai’s Vikhroli area injuring close to 16 passengers.
The incident took place on the Eastern Expressway in Vikhroli and the injured persons have been admitted to Rajadwadi and Sion hospital for treatment. The Vikhroli police rushed to spot after receiving information about the accident.
The BEST mini bus was heading towards Worli depot from Bhandup when the incident happened and was ferrying nearly 22 passengers. The bus driver tried to avoid hitting bikers and slammed into the divider.
