BEST Adds Two More Mini AC Buses To Its Fleet

These buses will ply on the Goregaon-Adarsh Nagar and Grant Road station- J. Mehta Road on Malabar Hill. The service will start at 6:00 am and the last bus will be at 10:00 pm.

After receiving an impressive response from commuters on the AC Mini buses, Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST) is all set to increase its fleet. In a recently made announcement, officials added two new routes for AC Mini buses.

One service will be from Goregaon to Adarsh Nagar in Aarey Colony and the other will be from Grant Road to J. Mehta Road in Malabar Hill. For both the routes, the first bus service will start at 6:00 am and the last bus will be at 10:00 pm. 

Since these BEST Mini Buses  are compa, they are perfect for the overcrowded roads of Mumbai. In a bid to give impetus to public transport, BEST has announced many new routes. The recent one being from King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital to Dadar station.  The bus service commences its first journey for the day at 6:50 am and the last bus for the KEM Hospital-Dadar route leaves at 10:40 pm.

Following is the complete list of BEST buses added to its fleet: 

  • Bus no. 7 LTD will run from Dr SPM Chowk to Rani Laxmibai Chowk between 12:15 am and 12:30 pm. Two buses will run on this route. 
  • Three buses from Dr. S.P.M. Chowk to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus from 11:30 pm on Wednesday to 12:30am on Thursday. 
  • Five new buses from Dr. S.P.M. Chowk to Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk Churchgate Station (East) between 10am and 11pm. 
  • Three additional buses will be added for route no 203 which will run from Andheri Station (West) to Juhu Beach between 11pm and 11:30pm on Wednesday.
  • Five additional buses will run from Santacruz Station (West) to Juhu Bus Station between 10pm to 11:15pm on Wednesday. 
  • There will be additional buses running (on route No 247) between Borivali Station (West) and Gorai Creek. The buses will operate on route number 294 while returning.
