With the revised plans, this metro line will become an extension of the Thane-Bhiwandi-Kalyan Metro Line 5, commonly referred to as the Orange Line. The integration of Metro Line 12 with Lines 4 and 4A (Wadala-Ghatkopar-Kasarvadavali-Gaimukh lines) will enable seamless travel for passengers from the eastern suburbs, allowing them to reach Taloja by changing lines at two stations.

These stations will be located at key points such as Ganesh Nagar, Pisavali Gaon, Golavali, Dombivali MIDC, Sagaon, Manpada, Sonarpada, Hedutane, Kolegaon, Nilje Gaon, Vadavali, Bale, Waklan, Turbhe, Pisarve Depot, Pisarve, and Taloja. The inclusion of these stations strategically caters to the commuting needs of residents and enhances connectivity with other existing and future metro lines in the region.
