Borivali station is considered to be an important station in the Mumbai suburbs. Time and again, there are talks regarding developing this station at par with world-class standards. One step in this direction was taken today (Wednesday) when the sixth escalator was made operational. The sixth escalator was inaugurated today and it is situated right in between the fourth and fifth escalators.
Three more escalators
The development work on this station is ongoing. While inaugurating the sixth escalator, MLA Gopal Shetty that they will leave no stones unturned to make it a world station. He also mentioned that Borivali station will soon be getting three more escalators. The station would be developed at par with any other airport of the country and a lot more facilities will be added to make travel comfortable for the commuters.
Dahisar station also to be developed
Apart from Borivali station, an escalator was inaugurated at Dahisar station also. As per Railway officials, there are more facilities added to the station soon.
