Central Railway will undertake a special traffic block on October 1 from 11:20 AM to 5:20 PM as part of pre-non-interlocking work for Karjat Yard reconstruction. This work is part of an ongoing block that began on September 26 and is expected to continue until October 10.
During the block, no Up or Down local train services will operate between Karjat and Khopoli. The affected route spans Bhivpuri station – Jambrung cabin – Thakurwadi – Nagnath cabin – Karjat.
Locals Cancelled on October 1
Up Locals Cancelled
– Khopoli – Karjat local trains departing at 11.20 am, 12.40 pm and 2.55 pm will be cancelled.
Down local cancelled
– Karjat – Khopoli local trains departing at 12 noon, 1.15 pm and 3.39 pm will be cancelled.
Local partially cancelled
– CSMT - Karjat local trains leaving at 9.01 am, 9.30 am, 9.57 am, 11.14 am and 1.40 pm will be operated up to Neral. Neral - Karjat local services will be cancelled
– Thane - Karjat local will be run up to Neral at 12.05 pm. Neral - Karjat local service will be cancelled
– CSMT- Khopoli local departing at 12.20 pm will be cancelled at Neral. Neral - Khopoli local service will not be available
– CSMT - Karjat local departing at 10.36 am and 2.45 pm will be operated up to Ambernath. Ambernath - Karjat local service will be cancelled
– CSMT - Karjat local departing at 1.19 pm will be cancelled at Thane. Local service will not be available between Thane - Karjat.
Passengers are advised to plan their travel accordingly and check for updates from Central Railway before starting their journey, as delays and schedule changes are likely during the block period.
