Here is the timetable of the 10 AC local services that Central Railways will start between CSMT-Kalyan from tomorrow

As the Railway Board approved the proposal for AC local train services between CSMT and Kalyan for commuters, the Central Railways (CR) has decided to run 10 AC locals replacing the existing services on this route from December 17, 2020.

According to the timetable released by the CR, the first train will run between Kurla-CSMT at 5:42 am, while the last train on main line between CSMT-Kurla will run at 23:53 hours.

A statement released by the Central railway stated that the above services will run with AC rake on Monday to Saturday only and will halt at all stations. Passengers as permitted by Ministry of Railways and Government of Maharashtra are only allowed to travel. Passengers are advised to adhere all norms, SOPs related to covid-19 during the boarding, travel and at the destination.

Moreover, this decision has been taken keeping in mind the current passenger traffic, which is lighter than usual given the restrictions imposed to keep the pandemic in check.

Also, the Railway board allowed running of AC local EMU trains on the mainline between CSMT and Kalyan on an experimental basis, with ten trips to assess public response in these times.

Senior railway officials said they will be running 10 AC local train services, of which at least two services will be run during morning and evening peak hours.

Currently, local train services are being used by essential workers, women, and selected professionals with valid IDs.
