The construction of steel girders of Gokhale bridge will be carried out between Vileparle and Andheri station on Western Railway from 9:30 pm on Saturday to 5:30 am on Sunday. Due to this, the schedule of local trains on Western Railway has been changed and many local trains have been cancelled. Also, the schedule of long distance trains has been changed.
Block between 9:30 pm to 5:30 am on Andheri station
To erect steel girders for Gokhale bridge, there will be a block from 9:30 pm to 5:30 am on Andheri station’s 5th line of Platform No. 9 and there will be block on up and down slow, fast lines on Andheri station from 12:10 am to 4:40 am on Saturday.
On Saturday between 12:10 pm and 4:40 am, local trains will run in the UP-fast direction till Goregaon. Additional local trains will be released from platform number 1 and 2 at Goregaon station and one can travel on the route from Goregaon to Churchgate via harbour or up slow route.
Special block from Nilje to Taloja-Panchanand station
Meanwhile, a special block will be conducted from Nilje to Taloja-Panchanand station on Central Railway from 1:50 pm to 3:50 pm on Friday.
Last Virar to Churchgate local will depart from Virar at 11:15pm
The last local train from Virar to Churchgate will depart from Virar at 11:15pm and will reach Churchgate at 12:42 pm. The last up slow local from Vasai Road to Andheri will leave Vasai Road at 11:15 pm and reach Andheri at 12:04 pm.
