Central Railway (CR) will operate special traffic & power blocks for launching of girders of 30 m and 24 m spans for Road Over Bridge at Diva Station. The blocks will be operated as under:
First Block on 04/05.03.2023 (Saturday/Sunday night time) from 01.30 am to 04.30 am on 5th, 6th, Up fast and other lines between Dombivli and Thane.
Due to this Mail/Express trains will be regulated as under:
Train No 12134 Mangaluru-CSMT Express to be regulated for 45 mins at Nilje Station.
Train No 20112 Madgaon-CSMT Konkan Kanya Express will arrive 10 to 15 mins later than scheduled arrival.
Up Mail/Express trains arriving Mumbai during the block period will be diverted on Up slow line between Kalyan and Thane stations and arrive destination 15-20 minutes behind schedule
Second Block on 05.03.2023 (Sunday day time) from 09.00 am to 02.00 pm on Common Loop and other lines between Diva and Thane.
Train No 50104 Ratnagiri-Diva Passenger will be regulated from 12:53 pm to 1.40 pm at Nilje Station.
In addition to this, the CR's Mumbai Division will operate Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out various engineering and maintenance works on March 5, 2023.
Thane-Kalyan 5th and 6th Lines from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm
Diversion of Up Mail and Dn Mail /Express Trains
12126 Pune- Mumbai Pragati Express will be diverted via Karjat-Kalyan section and will arrive destination 10-15 minutes behind schedule.
All UP and Down mail Express will be diverted on UP fast line and Down fast Line respectively and will arrive destination 10 to 15 minutes behind schedule.
Short Termination MEMU Services
MEMU leaving from Vasai Road at 09.50 am for Diva will be short terminated at Kopar
MEMU leaving from Diva at 11.30 am for Vasai Road will leave from Kopar at 11.45 am
Kurla – Vashi Up and Dn harbour lines from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm
Dn Harbour line services to Panvel/Belapur/Vashi leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 10.34 am to 3.36 pm and Up Harbour line services towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai leaving Vashi/Belapur/Panvel from 10.16 am to 3.47 pm will remain cancelled.
Special local trains will run on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai – Kurla and Panvel-Vashi sections during the block period.
Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Thane-Vashi/Nerul from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm on Transharbour line.
These maintenance mega blocks are essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused due to this infrastructure block, railway officials said in a statement released.
