Central Railway, general manager Anil Kumar Lahoti released the Wall Calendar 2022 of the railways. This wall calendar depicts the celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the images of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) building being the headquarters and from where first train ran in India, followed by Bhusaval, Nagpur, Solapur and Pune station buildings.
Besides, Saket Kumar Mishra, Secretary to General Manager, Shivaji Sutar, Chief Public Relations Officer, V. Chandrasekar, Dr. A.K. Singh, Senior Public Relations Officers, Central Railways also attended the ceremony.

Meanwhile, a month ago, Raosaheb Danve, Minister of State of Railways, Coal & Mines, Government of India dedicated home platform at Ambernath and Kopar railway stations, foot over bridges, escalators, lifts and toilet blocks on Mumbai suburban section of Central and Western Railways, coach restaurant at CSMT and executive waiting hall at CSMT and Mumbai Central railway stations.

Moreover, in a bid to benefit women, Mumbai Division of Central Railway has installed 50 Sanitary Napkin Vending Machines at Ladies Toilets/ Waiting Halls at stations.
