CR To Run 18 Additional Special Trains between Mumbai-Konkan

Additionally, CR will augment the following Express Trains with coaches. Waitlisted passengers are requested to check their PNR status before boarding the train. Passengers are advised to follow COVID-appropriate behaviour for their and other’s safety.

Central Railways (CR) will run 18 additional special trains between Mumbai's Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) and Sawantwadi Road to clear the extra rush of passengers due to Holi holidays. The details are as under:

Train No. 01023 Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Mumbai at 22.15 hrs from 25.03.2022 to 02.04.2022 and arrive Sawantwadi Road at 10.00 hrs next day.
Train No. 01024 Special will leave Sawantwadi Road at 11.35 hrs from 26.03.2022 to 03.04.2022 and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Mumbai at 23.55 hrs same day.

Halts: Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Savarda, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg and Kudal.

Composition: Two AC-3 Tier, 10 Sleeper class, 6 general second class including Guard's Brake Van.

Reservation: Bookings for special train No. 01023 / 01024 on special charges will open on March 24, 2022, at all computerised reservation centers and on website www.irctc.co.in.

22944/22943; 12913/12914 and 12923/12924 – two AC-2 Tier, 6 AC-3 Tier, 8 sleeper class, 4 general second class including guard’s brake van.
16541/16542 – one First AC, two AC-2 Tier, 4 AC-3 Tier, 8 sleeper class, 6 general second class including guard’s brake van, one pantry car
