Metro breaks down during peak hour traffic
SHARES

If you have been swearing by the punctuality and efficacy of the Mumbai Metro, we suggest you take a minute to do a rethink.

The Metro services from Ghatkopar to Versova were hit for over half an hour this morning due to a 'technical hitch'. MMOPL officials have so far not commented on the nature of this technical glitch. Hundreds of commuters, stranded at various metro stations at peak hour, had this to share on twitter.

This is not the first time the Metro has stumbled in its services. In the last three years of its operations, the Metro line has been affected by crows on the overhead wires and smoke emanating from burning of garbage on the pillars that support the Metro.
