Mumbai - CM Devendra Fadnavis has put forth a proposal for renaming Elphinstone Road station as ‘Prabhadevi’ and to rename Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus station as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus. This has been approved in the state assembly.
However, the state will forward these proposals to the Union government who will take the final call. Prior to this, the state government has given green signal for ‘Ram Mandir’ station which is to come up between Jogeshwari and Goregaon.
