The traffic police system has been prepared in the wake of Dussehra that will be widely celebrated on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. To avoid traffic congestion during Devi Visarjan, entry of heavy vehicles has been banned from October 24, 7:00 am to the next day, 7:00 am.


In order to avoid traffic congestion on the roads within the Navi Mumbai Police Commissionerate limits, traffic going from Navi Mumbai to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Thane limits, a notification has been issued restricting the entry of all heavy and heavy vehicles.

The said traffic control notification will not apply to vital vehicles, police vehicles, fire brigade, ambulances, all types of passenger buses and other essential service vehicles.
