Western Railway increases frequency of five special trains

In view of increasing demand by the passengers, Western Railways has increased the frequency of five special trains for which a special fare will be charged.

According to sources, only those with confirmed tickets will be allowed to travel on these special trains. Moreover, there will be an increase in eight rounds of the Mumbai Central-Samastipur special train. The train will reportedly run on June 1, 3, 5 and 7 whereas the Samastipur-Mumbai Central special train will run on June 3, 5, 7 and 9.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Central Bhagalpur special train has been extended to two rounds. This train will run on June 4, while the Bhagalpur-Mumbai Central special train will run on June 7. In addition, two rounds of Udhana-Danapur superfast special train has been extended. The Udhana-Danapur special train will run on May 31, while the Danapur-Udhana special train will run on June 2.

Furthermore, two rounds of the Udhana-Chhapra Superfast special train have been extended. The Danapur-Udhana special train will run on June 4 and the Chhapra-Udhana special train on June 6. Rajkot-Samastipur special train has increased by two rounds. The Rajkot-Samastipur train will run on June 2, while the Samastipur-Rajkot special train will run on June 5.

Meanwhile, despite the restrictions on coronavirus rail travel, the Western Railways has started special trains keeping in view the demands of the passengers. However, the railway authorities have asked the commuters to abide by the rules in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to safeguard themselves and other passengers.
