Whenever we tend to travel by a local train, our only desire is to get a window seat. We feel special when we get that seat wherein we get a scenic view while commuting. It seems, the Indian Railways have heard our prayers and have introduced the see-through Vistadome coach to provide commuters a panoramic view during their train travel.

This has been manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai. This is not the first of its kind as a coach running between Visakhapatnam to Araku Valley hill station has something similar which is attached right at the end of the Visakhapatnam-Kirandaul passenger train, gets detached at Araku.
