Delay due to test certificate
The first air-conditioned electric bus was flagged off in August 2022 by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari. After that, the testing of this bus began at the ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India) centre in Pune.
The bus was scheduled to come into service between September and October and then it was postponed to January 14. However, there was a delay in getting the test certificate, as per the reports.
