After the construction of Badlapur railway station's home platform, the stop of the local station on platform number one and two has been changed from Tuesday, January 9. Now the local train will stop one and a half coaches further towards Karjat than the previous stop. An announcement about this was being made in the station on Tuesday. But on Tuesday, the passengers were confused due to the changed stop. Even women passengers had to rush to get a seat in the local train.

The construction of the home platform was expected to be completed by the end of October, but the work of the home platform is still not completed. At present, the construction of an additional pedestrian bridge over the home platform is underway. However, because of the home platform, the length of platform number one and two has increased towards Karjat.

Before the construction of the home platform, the platform was not up to the pedestrian bridge towards Karjat. Now, both platforms number one and two have been added to the pedestrian bridge. Therefore, the railway administration has decided to shift the local trains standing on platform number one and two towards Karjat by one and a half coaches.

Its implementation started on Tuesday. Since morning, announcements were being made in the station about the local trains being parked ahead. Badlapur station is heavily crowded with passengers. So many passengers enter the local train before the train stops to get a seat.
