Lalbaug flyover shut for three hours

SHARES

Parel - Commuters had tough time travelling towards South Mumbai, as the Lalbaug flyover developed cracks. The flyover was closed on Monday for three hours. This is the second time that crack has been developed, earlier in November 2016 cracks were reported. The south-bound lane of the flyover was immediately shut. According to civic officials, the rubber seal between the expansion joints developed a wide gap. Not only Lalbaug flyover is in fix, but Sion, King's Circle, Kala Nagar, Kherwadi and Dindoshi flyovers are also depleting. Who will be responsible for the accidents that will occur on flyover? The flyover was opened for light vehicles at 9.30 am.
