Mumbai - A mega block on all the three lines of the railways, Western, Central and Harbour, will be taken for repairing work on Sunday. This is going to cause inconvenience to the commuters. On Central Railway, repair works will be taken up between Matunga to Mulund and hence mega block will be taken up during 11.30 am to 4.30 pm on Sunday. All the fast local trains will be diverted on slow tracks. All these trains will stop at all stations except Vidyavihar, Kanjurmarg and Nahur stations. Fast local trains will stop at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli and other stations. The trains will run late due to the mega block, said the concerned officials. Between Kurla to Vashi on the Harbour line, repair work will be taken up during 11 am to 4.10 pm. This will completely halt local train services on this line. For the convenience of commuters, special local trains will be run between CST-Kurla and Vashi-Panvel. On the Western Line, mega block will be taken up on fast tracks between Churchgate to Mumbai Central station during 10.35 am to 3.35 pm on Sunday. All local trains will be run on slow tracks.
