The Central Railway and Western Railway will conduct mega block on August 27 to carry out maintenance work of rail tracks and other related work under both the Railway zones.
The fast trains leaving from Kalyan from 11:00 am to 4:21 pm will be diverted on the slow line between Kalyan and Thane stations halting at all stations and further re-diverted on the fast line between Thane and CSTM. These locals will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla, Dadar and Byculla stations and will be running 20 minutes late.
Meanwhile, the Down fast trains leaving CSMT from 10:08 am to 2:42 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations.
Along with this, the Central Railway will operate night traffic block of 5 hours and 15 minutes on 27.8.2017.
The Down slow line services leaving Mulund from 00:34 am to 06:10 am will be diverted to Down fast line between Mulund and Diva stations. Meanwhile, the Up slow line locals leaving Diva from 03:48 am to 05:53 am will be diverted on Up fast line between Diva and Mulund. The Up and Down slow line services will not be available at Kalva and Mumbra stations during the block period.
The Up Harbour line services towards CSTM leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 10:20 am to 3:48 pm and Dn Harbour line services to Vashi/Belapur/Panvel leaving CSMT from 10:35 am to 3:37 pm will be suspended. However, special local trains will run on CSMT- Kurla and Vashi - Panvel sections during the block period.
WR to carry out night block during the midnight of 26 August from 12.30 am to 4:00 am between Vasai Road to Bhayander.
