A motorman working in the motorman's room at the Central Railway's CSMT station suffered a heart attack at the Sanpada car shed on Monday.

Motorman Somnarayan (57) who was returning after parking a local in Sanpada car shed on Monday night started having chest pain. He was going towards the running room, however, he could not walk as the pain was unbearable. During this time, the guard who was with him questioned him. However, Somnarayan could not say anything at that time. Finally, the guard took Somnarayan to the Chief Yard Master at Sanpada.

After admitting to the hospital, ECG was done which revealed that she suffered a heart attack. Later he was admitted to a private hospital for further treatment where he underwent Angioplasty.  Currently, Somnarayan is undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit.
