Usually, commuters find it difficult to reserve a seat in ST run buses due to technical difficulties. To ease the process, the corporation has given the option to the passengers to book ST tickets on the app. This facility will be launched soon. The vice president and managing director of the corporation, Shekhar Channe, gave information about this in a program.

What exactly is wrong with the current ticket reservation system?
Currently, while booking tickets on ST Corporation's website, the amount is often deducted from the traveller's account, however, the seat is not reserved. After this, the concerned passengers often have to struggle to get the money back. In addition, buses with reserved seats are often not available to reserve tickets. Passengers have also complained about wrong seat numbers after booking tickets. Passengers have also experienced that the website of the corporation is closed while booking tickets.
What measures in the new app booking?
On the new app to be launched by ST Corporation, passengers will be able to make payments not only through debit-credit cards, but also through Google Pay, Paytm, Amazon Pay available on their mobile phones. On this app, passengers can also check the exact location of the bus for which they have reserved a ticket. So waiting for the bus will stop. Also, passengers can do their work and be present during the bus time. Vehicle monitoring system will be used in 11,000 buses of the state for this facility.
