Western Railway (WR) has decided to revise the timings of Train No. 22961 Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express.
According to an official statement issued by Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of WR, the timings have been revised for operational reasons w.e.f. August, 24, 2024. Details of the same are as under:
The train will now leave Mumbai Central at 3:45 PM, which is ten minutes earlier than the current departure time of 3:55 PM. This train reaches Borivali at 4:10 and departs at 4:13. Presently the arrival time of this train at Borivali is 4:20 and 4:23.
As per the revised schedule this train will reach Vapi at 5:40 pm and depart Vapi at 5:42 pm, Surat this train will arrive at 6:38 pm and depart at 6:43 pm and Vadodara will arrive at 8:11 pm and depart at 8:14 pm. The train will finally reach Ahmedabad at 9:15 PM. Which will be ten minutes earlier than the current arrival time of 9:25.

"Passengers are advised to verify the information in the new timetable and plan their journey accordingly," a Western Railway official said.
