The Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation (MMMOCL) has decided to extend the service timings of both the Mumbai Metro Lines 2A and 7. Considering the needs of the passengers, Mahametro has changed the schedule of the trips.
In a statement issued on Monday, MMMOCL announced that instead of the last train departing at 22:09 hrs, two additional services will be introduced on both routes to extend the operating hours till 22:30 hrs.

The extended hours on both routes will be implemented on a trial basis for the next two months. If there is a good response from the passengers, it will continue.
“MMMOCL has decided to extend metro service timings for the convenience of passengers. At present, we have 28 metro rakes which are sufficient to ply both the lines. We will continue to monitor passenger response to these additional services and if required we will decide to extend services during peak hours,” said SVR Srinivas, Chairman, MMMOCL.
The increase in services will be as follows:
Andheri West to Dahisar East at 22:20 and 22:30 hrs. (two services)
Gundvali to Dahanukarwadi via Dahisar East at 22:20 and 22:30 hrs. (two services)
Details of last trains at various stations are as follows:
• Last train from Gundavali to Andheri West – 21:30 hrs
• Last train from Gundavali to Dahanukarwadi – at 22:30 hrs
• Last train from Andheri West to Gundavali – at 21:30 hrs
• Last train from Andheri West to Dahisar East – 22:30 hrs
• Last train from Dahisar East to Andheri West – at 22:03 hrs
• Last train from Dahisar East to Gundavali – at 22:08 hrs
• Last train from Dahisar East to Dahanukarwadi – at 23:11 hrs
