Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) has announced festive-season relief for commuters on the Aarey–Cuffe Parade Metro 3 corridor, cutting the price of short-duration passes and giving monthly pass holders more time to use their trips.
This latest round of price cuts and extended validity is the newest step in that effort, with the revised fares set to roll out through MMRC's regular ticketing and digital sales channels.
One-day and three-day passes get cheaper
These passes let commuters travel unlimited times on the Metro 3 line during their validity window, making them especially useful for tourists and occasional riders.

Monthly trip passes extension
Commuters who buy the 45-trip or 60-trip monthly passes previously had just 30 days to use them. That window has now been extended to 45 days — 15 extra days to complete the same number of trips, at no change in price.
The extended validity is aimed at regular but not daily commuters — people whose travel patterns are irregular due to holidays, leave, or hybrid work schedules. It gives them more flexibility to use up their trips without the pass expiring early.
