Mumbai Metro Line 3 has announced extended operating hours and special arrangements on the occasion of Angaraki Sankashti Chaturthi, August 12, to ensure a smooth and convenient experience for devotees visiting the Siddhivinayak Temple in Prabhadevi.

As per the official update shared by Mumbai Metro on social media on X, services on Metro Line 3 will commence early at 5:30 am and continue until midnight on the day of the festival.

This initiative is aimed at helping devotees reach the temple faster and avoid road traffic on this auspicious day.

To further ease the flow of visitors, the following special entry and exit arrangements have been made at Siddhivinayak Metro Station:

B1 & B2: Siddhivinayak Temple exit gate

A3: Entry for Mukhdarshan / Aashirvachan queue

A5: Entry for women’s queue and general queue

Given the expected surge in devotees visiting Shree Siddhivinayak Mandir in Prabhadevi on the occasion of Angarki Sankashti Chaturthi on August 12, 2025, the Mumbai Traffic Police has issued a notice outlining temporary traffic restrictions around the temple.

In a statement, police said, “There will be a large number of devotees at Shree Siddhivinayak Mandir, Prabhadevi, which may affect traffic on roads in the vicinity. Hence, traffic restrictions have been imposed temporarily on August 12.”

As per the official traffic advisory, these temporary measures will be in effect from 6:00 AM to midnight on Tuesday, August 12. The aim is to manage the crowd effectively and ensure smooth vehicular movement.
