Mumbai-Pune Expressway to remain closed for two hours

Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) informed that the expressway will be closed between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 28, 2019.

In order to carry out the overhead gantry work, Mumbai-Pune Expressway will remain closed on Thursday for a duration of two hours. Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) informed that the expressway will be closed from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

The commuters travelling during the scheduled hours are suggested to take National Highway 4 at Khalapur. The route will be diverted again to the Mumbai-Pune expressway from Ajivali.

The commissioning work will be carried out near Panvel exit and the work on the expressway will be halted after two hours. However, the chances of a huge traffic jam are high while the commuters have been asked to take the suggested alternative route.
