According to the latest reports, with Mumbai schools reopening, the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) declared that its services would be streamlined for students from school. The body looks to help school students to ensure that they do not face any inconvenience.
This development reportedly comes in the aftermath of parents complaining about hikes in fares of school buses and the availability of bus services for school children.
Based on accounts, additional conductors and supervisors will be stationed on routes that witness significant commute of students. Moreover, if needed more bus services will also be operated.
The BEST took to Twitter to state, "Student concessional bus passes for private school and Junior College students available to travel in BEST buses."

It was reported that the BEST had also told its conductors to provide priority to school kids while boarding buses. Manoj Varade, BEST PRO was quoted in reports elucidating that they have asked drivers and conductors to help all school children to ensure they don't face any inconvenience while travelling to and from school.
Narratives suggest that the body will also station inspectors at the majority of the bus stops to call the nearest depot and ask for more buses if more school children are looking to travel by means of the BEST bus.
