The Nagpur-Madgaon special train connecting Vidarbha and Konkan in the state will run till June 30 instead of March 30. Meanwhile, the service of this train will continue till June 8, when the monsoon schedule of Konkan Railway starts. Subsequently, Konkan Railways has decided to change the schedule of this train till June 30.

Train No. 01139 Nagpur-Madgaon and Train No. 0140 Madgaon-Nagpur are being extended for the last two years. This train is being run by Konkan and Central Railway with special fares, increasing the service every two to three months, instead of running on a permanent schedule, which is very important for passengers. Due to passenger demand from the Konkan and Central Railway administration, the service of this train has been extended several times in the last two years. Also, Nagpur-Madgaon train service was extended from December 30, 2023 to March 30, March 2024 and Madgaon-Nagpur train service from March 31, 2024. Now again Nagpur-Madgaon train service has been extended till June 8 and Madgaon-Nagpur train service has been extended till June 9.

Meanwhile, the response of the passengers to this train is that this train connects Nagpur to Madgaon with many important places. But the passengers have raised the question of why the railway administration is not running this train as per the permanent schedule.
