The management has decided to completely stop the bus service of NMMT number 31 and 30 of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation connecting Uran from Friday, February 23. Therefore, thousands of passengers travelling by this bus will be affected. In Uran, there are two bus numbers 31 from Koparkhairane to Uran and 30 from Kalamboli to Uran. More than 7k passengers used to travel in this bus every day.

A total of 120 trips of 42 buses were being operated on this route, these buses have become an important service for the travel of citizens, students and workers of Uran. But the NNMT management has decided to stop this service.

NMMT bus number 34 service between Juinagar railway station in Navi Mumbai and Koproli village in Uran was suspended indefinitely following the horrific accident at Khopte. After the accident, the NMMT workers refused to work on the route, so 52 ferries and more than 5 thousand passengers were plying on the route throughout the day. At the same time, the workers demanded that the traffic on the remaining route of Uran should be stopped. NMMT service manager Yogesh Kaduskar said that the management has decided to completely stop the service of NMMT on the route of Uran and the safety of workers is important.
