Andheri- Platforms at Andheri railway station have been changed in order from 1 to 9. Now the harbour line starts from platform no 1 and 2 which was earlier known as 6 and 7.
After the construction of the new harbour line stations, people were getting confused. Rail authorities have made it simple for the commuters by changing the number of platforms from 1 to 9 number. These changes were made in order to avoid any confusion for the commuters boarding trains onthe western or Harbour line, .
Now harbour line trains will halt and start from platform 1 and 2, platforms from 3 to 9 are set for the Western line trains.
The new platforms are as follow:
Old platforms were 6 7 1 2 3 4 5 8 9
New platform are 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
