Country's first high-speed train with ultra modern amenities flagged off from CST for Karmali on 23 May 2017. Suresh Prabhu flagged off the inaugural journey. Every passenger was eager to get on the train to experience the journey. But it came as a shock when the news made round that the journey became a mess. While some passengers complained that they didn't get headphones, others were busy stealing the headphones.
The carelessness at the hands of passengers and train staff is creating problems. The toilets are soiled, LCDs are thrashed now is it the passengers or the staff? Since the doors are automated, one more incident took place, a brother, in order to meet his sister at Ratnagiri, got down from the train and couldn't get inside as the doors were locked. These are the inevitable initial problems which have to be looked into for the smooth journey and enriching experience.
