Indian Railways has announced plans to run a one-way special train from Mangalore Junction to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai. With this, people going from Mangalore to Mumbai can now heave a sigh of relief. To reduce the extra traffic of passengers, train number 06007 is being started. According to sources, the special train from Mangalore Junction to Mumbai's Lokmanya Tilak Terminus will leave Mangalore at 6:10 pm on April 8 and will reach Mumbai at 1:15 pm on April 9.
This train will stop at Surathkal, Udupi, Kundapur, Mookambika Road, Bynduru, Bhatkala, Murudeshwar, Kumta, Karwar, Canacona, Madgaon, Karmali, Kudal, Kankavli, Ratnagiri, Sangameshwar Road, Savarde, Chiplun, Khed, Veer, Roha, Panvel and Thane. There will be many stops along the way.
The announcement of this special train will prove to be of great help to the people of Mangalore who are troubled by the movement of passengers in regular trains.
