The Mumbai Traffic Police has issued a circular regarding traffic regulation to facilitate vehicular movement and crowd management in South Bombay (SoBo) on the dates on which the IPL matches are scheduled to be played at the Wankhede Stadium.

An official statement mentioned that the stadium authorities will not provide parking facilities urging spectators to opt for public transport.

Therefore, parking will not be allowed between 12 noon to 11.55 pm on several roads to ensure smooth flow of traffic. 

On C, D, E, F, G roads from the junction of NS Road to the junction of Air India Junction to Mafatlal Bath signal there will be no parking on north and south sides. Vehicles parked at the above locations will be removed by issuing e-challan.

Moreover, traffic police said that as a large number of spectators are expected to cause traffic jams, only emergency vehicles will be allowed in the area.

Alternative traffic routes are D Road from the junction at NS Road (Marine Drive) and towards the junction of 'E' and C Road which will be one way (west to east) for vehicular traffic. If required, F Road will be one way (west to east) from the junction of E Cross Road to the junction of NS Road (Marine Drive). E Road will be one-way (southbound) for all vehicular traffic from the junction of 'D' Road to the junction of C Road.
