From the past one year workers employed in Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) are awaiting increment in salary. In regard with this, Diwakar Raote, State Transport Minister has ordered the administration to take action in the matter and resolve the issue.
Till date, nine meetings have been set up between ST administration and Association in connection with wages, but to their dismay, no action has been undertaken. Around 1, 07,000 employees work in the corporation. Workers have demanded that likewise seventh pay commission their salaries must also be increased.
